Hyderabad: Global Art India that provides a complete, systematic and efficient art program with the aim of developing the artistic and creative potential of children organised its 2nd Regional Competition ‘KOLOR CHAMP ’12 ANDHRA PRADESH’, an Art Competition here in city today at GVK Mall, Banjara Hills. About 500 city children from 15 centers between the ages of 5 – 15 years will competed in the competition.
The theme for the competition was ‘Good Health for a Better World’. The theme would provided an opportunity to children to come up with pictures with interesting and possibly innovative ideas about how we could work towards being in better health and thus make the world a happier, better place to be in!
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Dinesh Victor, Managing Director of SIP Academy India Pvt. Ltd. said that Creativity will be most valuable commodity in future, apart from the educational qualifications companies will also look for creativity in the individual before hiring them. The competition was held in four categories. Category A for children aged 5-6 years; Category B – children aged 7-9 years; Category C – children aged 10-12 years and Category D – children aged 13 years and above. Children in the Category A and B were given outlines to fill in the colours and participants in the Categories C & D had to draw / painting using their choice of either crayons or colours in the given time of 90 minutes.
Global Art India has earned the unique distinction from the Limca Book of Records for conducting Kolor Champ 2010 – a children’s painting competition with participants from most countries. This will feature in the Paintings chapter of the 2012 edition of Limca Book of Records, which will be out into the market in this month
