Bangalore :- Promptec, one of the pioneers and industry leader in LED (Light Emitting Diode) Lighting, Solar lighting and Power Electronics solutions, successfully completed the installation of LED lighting for KisaN Mouldings Limited, a leading manufacturer of pipes and fittings for Water Management, Irrigation, Water Distribution and Sewage Disposal Systems, at their new factory in Kora, Tumkur, Karnataka. With Promptec LED lights KisaN Mouldings Limited will annually save 1, 33,799 kWh i.e. Rs. 10 Lakhs per annum on their electricity bills. Promptec’s 28W, 80W LEDs are specially designed for industrial lighting with maximum lumens, minimum power consumption and low maintenance cost. Promptec LED lights are designed at their own full-fledged Research and Development (R&D) center in Bangalore. These energy efficient LED lights of 56W and 80W replaces 134W and 200W conventional lights respectively.
Well-designed LEDs are expected to last for 50,000 to 1,00,000 burning hours and coupling these LEDs with smart controls can extend its life span even further; unlike conventional lights which have to be replaced once every 18 months for continuous 24 hours usage. Promptec installed 210 sets of LED lights each with 28Wx2, and 12 Units of LED lights with 80W in KisaN Mouldings Limited’s manufacturing plant at Tumkur.
According to Mr. Rajesh Pajnoo, President, KisaN Mouldings Ltd, “We have installed Promptec LED lights to turn environment friendly, by reducing 104 tonnes of carbon emission per year and at the same time saving on power consumption, which will eventually lead to lower electricity bills. We will be saving Rs. 9.36 lakhs per annum on our electricity bills.”
According to Mr. Kiran Moras, Director, Promptec, “We are happy to join hands with KisaN Mouldings Limited to install our range of industrial LED lights in their new plant at Tumkur. Our LEDs will reduce the requirement on Grid by 42KW a year thus reducing their expenses on power consumption bills by Rs 9.36 Lakhs every year, also we reduced the number of lights, copper cable length and cable gauge to reduce the installation cost. We expect the light quality will also improve productivity and stress on the eyes of workers in the factory”
