Mumbai: Green Acres Academy Principal Mrs. Manju Mehta has been selected and coveted with the honour of being the “Country’s 100 Most Influential Principal’s” by The World Education Congress (WEC).
The World Education Congress (WEC) had conducted surveys in various Schools across the Country for the selection of best of the Principal’s according to their merits and best practices. Principal Mrs. Manju Manju of The Green Acres Academy was found eligible for the honor for imparting quality education to students in School.
Mrs. Mehta layed the foundation of The Green Acres Academy (TGAA) in Chembur in the year 2011 for educating and nurturing small children’s right from playgroup to the fifth Std. Manju Mehta says that the Pre- Primary Section of her School focuses pre-eminently on the Play, Learn, Grow concept so that the students gains self confidence in their younger age and become more self reliant and independent.
She said along with education her school also also lays strong emphasis on extra curricular activities to nurture the talents of her students.So the educational course covers and comprises activities like sports, music, dance, drama, creative writing and reading the books.
The teachers play a crucial role in making the students ‘good citizens’ and it is also necessary for the overall development and orientation of the teachers to achieve this task, hence every month the school helds a meeting with the teachers.
The new education system is to address the problem through discussion and understaning the mentality of the students by the teachers. The School conducts workshops on Child Psychology and Development Psychology for the teachers in this direction.
Following the growing trend of parents and patrons the Green Acres Academy TGAA, Chembur is beginning its second branch in Mulund to meet the demands and needs of parents who want to give the best education to their childrens.
