Patna: In Bihar, State BJP Vice President and former MLA Visheshwar Ojha was on Friday  shot dead by unidentified assailant at Sonbarsa village under Shahpur police station of Bhojpur district of the state.

The incident occurred when he was returning from Sonbarsa bazaar this evening miscreants fired indiscriminately on the deceased. In another incident local BJP leader Kedar Singh was murdered under Taraiya village of Saran district of the state.

Besides senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi, Union Ministers Ram Vilash Paswan and Upendra Kushwaha have strongly condemned the incident and alleged that after formation of government of grand alliance, law and order in the state has deteriorated fast.

Former Chief Minister and President of Hindusatni Awam Morcha Jitan Ram Manjhi said Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has lost control over law and order jungle raj prevails in the state. The Director General Police of Police P. K. Thakur has said a massive manhunt has been launched to nab the killers.
