Over 6000 people evacuated after military depot catches fire in Russia
Jun 19, 2013In Russia, more than 6,000 people have been evacuated after a military depot caught fire. Thousands of shells and millions of rounds of ammunition were being stored at the site in the Samara region, south-east of Moscow. Five people were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, and 34 others were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Over 20,000 pilgrims evacuated in U’khand
Jun 19, 2013In Uttarakhand, with the improvement in weather relief and rescue work has been expideted. More than 20 thousand pilgrims and tourists who are bound for char dham yatra have so far been evacuated while 50 thousand people are still stranded. As per latest report 102 people have died whereas numbers of people are still missing.
