Himachal Pradesh : People in Himachal Pradesh are adopting cashless system after being sensitized by Common Service Centre’s specialists. In Bilaspur district, the Kathla village of Kutehlla Panchayat of Swarghat Sub Division has become cashless.

District Manager of Common Service Centre Monica Gupta told AIR that people are using different digital modes for their payments. The villagers are praising the cashless techniques for its several benefits. Media  reports that in this hill state the people are coming forward to adopt cashless techniques in their day to day life slowly-slowly.

The Kathla village of Kutehlla Panchayat has become cashless after being guided by the common service centre’s in this regard. Nearly 275 resident of this village has been trained in cashless techniques and now they are using digital platform like UPI, Pay TM and USSD Apps for any kind of payments.

In the Office of Deputy Commissioner Mandi more than Ten Lakh Ruppes have been deposited through cashless systems for payment of different types of license fees during last one month.
