New Delhi: Supreme Court on Monday decided to hear on Friday the PIL , seeking Central rule in J&K, filed by National Panthers Party. The decision was announced by Mr. Justice Tirath Singh Thakur, Chief Justice of India.
The Panthers Party filed the writ petition on 21st this month seeking removal of BJP-PDP government in the state. In the petition the party urged the Apex Court to direct the Governor to impose Central rule in J&K by invoking Section 92 of the Constitution of J&K. It is to be noted, the affairs of the state of J&K are administered under the authority of the Constitution of J&K.
