Reaching out to the literary intelligentsia of Agra and Kanpur as well as a strong student population who are part of the DNA of this culturally rich town, the three-day festival encompassed a wide range of interactive and engaging sessions, including discussions, dramatic readings, sufi performances, enactments and workshops for its eager audience. Be it in the domain of music or writing or architecture, Agra has historically been known for its stronghold on culture and art.� Names like Ghalib, Tansen, Surdas and Nazeer form part of the lore of Agra. It�s quite unfortunate that with the passage of time, these arts appear to have lost their pre-eminence, and this festival is an attempt to rejuvenate the embers of that aesthetic spirit which smolder in this culturally & historically rich city.
