With law and order in Uttar Pradesh being one of the top most priority for Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi met state DGP Javed Ahmed today.

State Home Secretary Debasish Panda and Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar also met Yogi Adityanath at VVIP guest house in Lucknow.

The newly elected CM Adityanath yogi is also slated to meet governor Ram Naik in the evening.

Meanwhile, yesterday in his first ever press conference after assuming charge, Adityanath had said that his government would fulfil all the promises made in BJP Sankalp Patra, which was released before the elections.

He also said that the state government will work for all sections of society without any partiality. He identified law and order and employment generation as priority areas.

Sending a strong message against corruption on day one, Adityanath asked all his ministers to provide details of their income, moveable and immovable assets within 15 days.

I&B minister Venkaiah Naidu has hit hard at opposition for criticising BJP on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. Talking to media, the minister said that it was first decided by party MLAs and then approved by the Party high Command.
