165th SLBC meeting was held on Wednesday, 15th May 2024 at meeting hall Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, GoK, Smt. Sonali Sen Gupta, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Shri T Ramesh, Chief General Manager – NABARD, Shri. Bhavendra Kumar, Executive Director, Canara Bank, Shri. K J Srikanth, Convenor – SLBC Karnataka & CGM, Canara Bank. State Controlling heads of all Banks and other dignitaries attended the meeting.
The Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, GoK madam has advised all the line departments and Bankers to cover all eligible populations under PMJJBY & PMSBY schemes. Also appreciated all Bankers for achieving CD ratio of 78.19 % during Quarter- 4.
Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, GoK madam has informed that the achievement as on 31.03.2024 under ACP is very successful and it is 104 % under Agriculture of the annual target, under Total credit it is 114 % and total priority sector it is 97 %. She complemented all the bankers for good performance. But at the same time, under Priority Education [29%] and Priority Housing [26%] performance is not as expected. She urged the Bankers to achieve the set targets under all parameters for FY 2024-25.
ACS & DC, GoK madam congratulated all the Lead District Managers and Bankers for successful launch of Annual Credit Plan for FY 2024-25 in first week of April month and Karnataka is the first State to launch at Pan India level.
