  • 2010 Voice & Data Industry Award win’s Aplaya Technologies

    Voice & Data, the premium Telecom publication in India, conferred the prestigious Voice & Data Industry Award to Vamshi Reddy, Co Founder, Apalya Technologies as the Best Telecom Innovator. The award was presented by honorable Mr PJ Thomas, The DoT Secretary in a glittering ceremony held in New Delhi.

    Apalya Technologies was adjudged as a winner in this category for its relentless contribution in the telecom sector and for bringing entertainment-on-the-go in the form of mobile TV service. Constant improvements by Apalya enabled mobile broadband users to exploit TV and video-on-demand content-on-the-go and earned Apalya millions of viewers during IPL. The awards were adjudged by esteemed jury members consisting of Mr. A Sethuraman of Huawei, Mr Naresh Ajwani, Wttil Quippo, Mr Kunal Bajaj, Analysys Mason, Mr Rajat K Mukarji, Idea Cellular, Mr Satyen Gupta, British Telecom and Mr Pradeep Gupta, Chairman, CyberMedia India.

    Vamshi Reddy on receiving the award said “We are extremely thankful to the jury members of the awards and Voice& Data Team for conferring this highly esteemed award to us. I feel elated while accepting this award.
