Three International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) servicemembers were killed in separate improvised explosive device (IED) attacks in Afghanistan Friday.

A press release issued by the ISAF said two of the victims were killed in an attack in eastern Afghanistan and the other in southern Afghanistan.

No further information could be reached as the press release said it is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.
