Mumbai: After carving a niche in promoting independent artists and nurturing their talent, 
The idea behind this unique digital music awards is to felicitate the best of independent artists and music released by Artist Aloud. The awards came into inception in 2010 as a consumer voting led activity to encourage global music talents while involving music lovers and getting them to vote for their favourite artists. With the growing number of talented singers & musicians, Artist Aloud is all set to honour and acknowledge the efforts of almost 200 artists from India as well as other international countries. The public voting process will be open from 8th – 22nd April and 29th April – 6th May, exclusively on ArtistAloud.com.
Fans can vote for their favourite artists across different genres like Pop, Rock, Fusion and Global music. The awards will have 4 categories like Best Song, Best Male, Best Female & Best Group in the Public voting section and 8 categories like Best Album, Best Video, Best Lyricist, Best Composer, Best Genre, Best language, Best Sound & Best Live Performer in Jury voting section.
Leading names from the music industry have been selected as jurors for the Jury voting category. Experts like Mandar Thakur, COO – Times Music, Devraj Sanyal, MD – Universal Music & EMI, Parag Kamani, Music Critic & Industry veteran, Suresh Thomas, MD Crescendo Music, Ashish Joshi, VP Digital & Business Head Fluence @ CA Media, Luke Kenny, Channel Head – 9XO, Anil Vanwari, Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief Indiantelevision.com, Andy Singh, CEO-HR Musik Ltd., K.J. Singh – National award winning music producer and engineer & Atul Churamani, MD Turnkey Music & Publishing Ltd have been selected as jury members.
The final awards will be held on 18th May 2015 from 10 am to 10 pm on ArtistAloud.com and multiple social engagement sites where every one hour, one award will be declared. Getting bigger and better this year the finale ceremony will witness the coming together of legends and popular artists from the Indian music industry presenting the Artist Aloud Music Awards to the winners.
