  • 6 killed in bomb blast in Afghanistan

    In Afghanistan, six persons including one policeman were killed in a bicycle bomb blast in a busy bazaar of northern Kunduz province yesterday. Agencies quoting governor’s spokesman said the incident occurred around 6 p.m in Khan Abad district . Provincial police spokesman Sarwar Hussaini confirmed the death toll. He also told that there are three children, four women and one policeman among the injured. So far no one has claimed responsibility for the blast. According to the United Nations civilians are the biggest casualties in Afghanistan war. Last year 2,777 civilians were killed in such incidents.
