  • “6th Facilities Management Council Summit” held in the city today

    Hyderabad : Facilities Management Council(FMC) Telangana, the professional body of Facilities Management industry in the Telangana State announced that it would with GHMC to propagate plastic free offices, Hyderabad Metro to promote last mile connectivity and with Govt of TS to promote Handloom Monday in the IT Industry.

    Facilities Management Council held its 6th Annual Summit 2018 here in the city at Cyber Towers in Madhapur.

    This event is aimed at celebrating the achievements of Facility Managers of various organisations and domains, added Satya.

    We are helping the State Government achieve their goal of bringing in a large number of global organisations to Telangana informed Satya.

    Speaking on the occasion Rishi Kumar Varma, Chief Marketing Officer of HYD Metro Rail said Miyapur, LB Nagar connectivity will go live by the end of August or first week of September. Similarly Metro will commence its services to Hitech city October or November this year.

    Speaking further Rishi Kumar informed that they HYD Metro Rail will work with FMC to organise Handloom Melas in Major Metro Railway Stations very soon.

    We have opened two malls and two more malls will come up at Erramanzil and Moosarambagh he informed.

    Few stall were also set up to promote handlooms and cultivate plastic free offices.

    FMC’s Women Forum held Business Enablers Discussion. Facilities Managers are Business Enablers informed one panellist.

    We are Enablers to society and we are also Enablers to society observed Kalayani another panellist. We are change managers said Pallavi.

    Facilities Management is critical to the competitiveness, efficiency and profitability of an organisation, a role that was largely overlooked in the past when Facility Management was seen overwhelmingly as a mere support function, observed Pallavi another panellist.

    FMC unveiled its logo, Video and Privilege Card.

    Awards were given away to employees who helped facilities management leadership And for their professional excellence.
