    9th India Bangladesh Friendship Dialogue :talking connectivity between 2 nations & beyond Relationship

    Guwahati : Assam Finance and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has hailed the developing ties between neighboring countries India and Bangladesh.On today, the Assam Minister chaired a session on connectivity at the 9th India Bangladesh Friendship Dialogue at Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh. Taking to Twitter, Biswa Sarma wrote, “Today it’s not only about Bangladesh giving transit for indian goods~Our relationship has matured so much that now we’re talking connectivity between 2 nations & beyond”. It may be mentioned here that a two-day Indo-Bangladesh Stakeholders’ Meet was organized at Guwahati in Assam on October 22 and 23.he event was attended by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Minister of Commerce, Government of Bangladesh, Tipu Munshi, Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Deb, Minister, Govt. of Assam, Industries & Commerce, Act East Policy Affairs, Chandra Mohan Patowary, Economic Affairs Adviser to the PM of Bangladesh Mashiur A.K.M. Rahman, among others. India was the first country to recognize Bangladesh as a separate and independent state and established diplomatic relations with the country immediately after its independence in December 1971. Bangladesh is one of India’s biggest importers of Power, and the two countries have opened up a bilateral trade network in recent times.
