Bengaluru, November 28, 2025: ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the leading global accountancy body, successfully concluded the ACCA India Employer Summit 2025 – India Leaders’ Edition.
The closed-group, high-impact leadership forum worked on ACCA’s global policy priorities of skills, sustainability and the profession. This year’s summit brought together award-winning employers, senior representatives from leading Global Capability Centres (GCCs), corporates, advisory firms, and expert panellists who played a pivotal role in shaping the discussions.
The India Leaders’ Edition introduced four dedicated leadership themes that explored the forces redefining the skills gap, the future of the profession, and sustainability including the evolution of GCCs in India, the rapid shift in talent expectations within finance, and the accelerated adoption of AI and emerging technologies.
Each of these groups had previously conducted a focused roundtable facilitated by ACCA and led by employers, generating rich insights, best practices, and practical recommendations. The outcome of these sessions was captured in four Leadership Playbooks, which were formally launched during the summit and will be shared across ACCA’s employer and education networks.
Delivering the keynote address, Helen Brand, Chief Executive, ACCA, said: “It’s been fantastic to meet up with members and employers. Hearing about so many success stories and the positive difference ACCA is making in India shows what an amazing community we have here.
“India continues to play a defining role in shaping the future of the global finance profession. The insights at this summit reflect the power of collaboration and our shared ambition to build ethical, resilient, and tech-enabled finance teams. The Leadership Playbooks launched today capture the forward-looking mindset that organisations need as they navigate rapid change.”
Speaking on the collaborative effort focussed on the key priorities for members, employers and the wider Indian economy that shaped this year’s summit, Md. Sajid Khan, Director, ACCA India, said: “The India Leaders’ Edition reflects the strength of our employer community and their commitment to shaping the profession’s next chapter. These playbooks are built on real experiences, real challenges, and real solutions contributed by leaders across sectors. We hope they inspire meaningful action within organisations across India.”
The summit additionally celebrated excellence and honoured organisations across multiple categories at the ACCA India Awards 2025, recognising achievements in sustainability, finance transformation, digital innovation, talent engagement, and DEI (diversity, equality and inclusion) leadership.
In keeping with ACCA’s commitment to creating sustainable, forward-looking enterprises all award-winning organisations, finalist teams, panellists, and contributors to the India Leaders’ Edition were honoured through geo-tagged trees planted in their name. A total of 150 trees has been geo-tagged, collectively forming the ACCA Digital Forest, a meaningful symbol of ACCA’s shared responsibility towards the planet.
