Bangalore: Taiwan-headquartered multinational computer technology, Acer is partnered with Reliance Netconnect to roll out its first high speed mobile broadband equipped netbooks in India. Acer, known to bring fresh technology to the market has launched the Aspire One532h, powered by Intel Atom processor to augment the performance of the 3G enabled netbook range.  The first 3G embedded netbook in India, is designed with an inbuilt CDMA/HSPA broadband + modem facility. This Acer technology netbook will bring a whole new experience to the users, as the performance and connectivity will change the dynamics of the internet experience.

Acer, with its strong positioning in the netbook and notebook marketplace, will expand its portfolio in offering new product to its customers. Acer, has tied up with Reliance Communications to offer the new range of 3G enabled netbook and the company plans to sign up with more wireless providers as partners in the near future. The technology accompanied with a gamut of benefits; helps the user in absorbing better reception and enables the user to experience high speed connectivity. The embedded WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network) technology helps in conserving energy which offers up to 8 hours battery life enabling all day computing.

Speaking during the launch, Mr. S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, opined, “The Indian market has been displaying a tremendous appetite for mobile connectivity in the form of Netbooks and Notebooks. This gets a further fillip with Acer’s embedded broadband Netbook with a multitude of attendant benefits like longer battery-life, convenience, tighter integration, security and lower TCO. The new wireless offer is available on Windows 7 starter versions in the Aspire Netbook range.  Acer will offer a variety of netbooks with built-in wireless capabilities at aggressive promotional prices starting at Rs. 19,499 (taxes and levies extra), with two months free data usage worth Rs 2198
