Afghanistan: At least 32 killed, 30 injured in separate attacks

In Afghanistan, at least 32 people have been killed including 18 security personnel and 30 others injured in three separate attacks yesterday.

An Afghan official said mortars fired by Taliban insurgents slammed into a busy market in country’s northern Faryab province killing at least 14 people and injuring 30 others, including several children. Faryab Provincial Police Chief Spokesman told that the target of today’s attack was a nearby security post.

In another incident, 18 Afghan security personnel were killed in two separate Taliban attacks in western Farah and Herat provinces.
