  • AGS Transact Technologies bags an order of Rs.27 crore from Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

    Mumbai:  AGS Transact Technologies Ltd, one of the leading system integrators in the business of touch-point transformations has been chosen by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL), India’s largest company by sales to set up Automatic Tank Gauging Systems (ATG) comprising of 4100 measuring probes and 1025 consoles to be installed at 1025 retail outlets spread across western & southern regions of India. The total order value is Rs.27 crore approximately, AGS group said in a statement. IOCL has chosen AGS Transact Technologies Ltd to implement ATG System, a first step towards automation and AGS with its high-end technology offerings is ideal for implementing the solutions for the wet stock management of its retail outlets.

    “The path breaking deal with Indian Oil is of special significance to AGS, since it will help us raise the bar for the product & services offerings to the petroleum sector in India. We are proud that we are delivering our products to a company with formidable network of customer touch-points. The order is scheduled to be executed by Feb 2012,” said Mr. Satish Zope, Senior Vice President, Petroleum Business from AGS Transact technologies adding light to the order secured from IOCL.
