    Chennai :  AirAsia is celebrating 5 years in India by offering Rs 500 base fare. All-in-fares inclusive of taxes and fees AirAsiastart from as low as Rs 2259 from Kochi to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 2704 from Chennai to Bangkok / Kuala Lumpur, Rs 3269 from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 3228 from Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur. AirAsia’s anticipated Free Seats campaign is back again, this time with 3 million promo seats available throughout AirAsia’s extensive route network throughout the region and beyond.

    Guests will be able to travel from 5 May 2014 up to 31 January 2015 with this Free Seats campaign. These promotional seats are available for booking at www.airasia.com from today until 1st Dec 2013.  Free Seats are from 0 base fare, with applicable taxes and fees from Rs500 one way

    Many domestic destinations such as Langkawi, Johor Bahru, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Bintulu, Alor Setar, Tawau, Labuan and many others are featured in this Free Seats campaign, and will be a catalyst towards encouraging domestic travel in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2014, as there will be many international travellers who will arrive into Malaysia through the various international hubs that AirAsia operates from such as Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. International destinations featured in this campaign also include Singapore, Jakarta, Bandung, Bangkok, Hatyai, Surat Thani, Manila, Cebu, Phnom Penh and many others.

Furthermore, with the introduction of 20 new city pairs for our Fly-Thru service, this is the perfect opportunity for our guests to connect from many places conveniently to their preferred destination.”

    AirAsia has introduced new Fly-Thru service from Chennai (via Bangkok) to Chiang Mai , Phuket, Krabi, Macau, Singapore . In addition AirAsia is also introducing 20 new Fly-Thru destinations from Kuala Lumpur to and from domestic destinations such as Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Penang and Langkawi to international destinations across the region beginning 25 November 2013. Guests traveling from Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, China, India, Hong Kong and Macau can now connect conveniently to the various domestic wonders of Malaysia.

    The Fly-Thru service enables guests to connect flights conveniently from one destination to another without the hassle of collecting their bags at any stopover transit point, as well as quick transit as the time in between the connecting flights will not exceed the ’90 minutes – 6 hours’ window.
