Hyderabad : Annapurna International School of Film & Media (AISFM), South India’s Premier Film School, honored the graduates of the first batch of “Cinematography for Film + TV “and the second batch of “Post Graduate Program in Filmmaking” courses at a ceremony held in the School premises today.
The event was graced by popular Director Mr. Dev Katta & Cinematographer Mr. M.V. Raghu , who handed over the certificates to the students.
The Post-Graduate Program in Filmmaking is a 10 month course, designed to give mature students a thorough grounding in all major aspects of filmmaking. The course teaches all aspects of filmmaking – Screenwriting, directing, producing, editing, cinematography & acting. By the end of this course, students will be able to choose a career path in film that delights them & suits them the most.
The six months course -“Intro to Cinematography for Film + TV” introduces aspiring cinematographers to the basics of using a camera and camera motion, different types of lighting and three-point lighting, lenses, filters. Starting with analyzing still images, both photography and paintings, students learn how to light a scene, whether working in the studio or outdoors. As they progress in skill, students move from DSLRs to more advanced cameras and grip equipment including tracks, trolleys and cranes. In line with the current industry practices, the students will follow their footage from the camera into the post-production digital workflow.
AISFM Students who completed the courses received placement offers from reputed production Houses across the city.
