Kokrajhar : The All BTC Scheduled Caste Students Union and All BTC Scheduled Caste Jatiya Parishad  has expressed their full support to the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL)  candidate Urkhao Gwra Brahma in the 5-KOKRAJHAR ST HPC.

Talking to Reporters at a pressmeet at Kokrajhar Press Club, the union president Pradeep Sarkar said they have decided to extend full support to UPPL candidate in 5 No. Kokrajhar constituency in the Lok Sabha election. Sarkar said the ruling BPF govt in BTC and the BJP govt in Assam have failed to work and address the genuine issues of the scheduled caste people. Sarkar said the Union have on put their various demands, submitted memorandum, staged dharnas but the government has failed to fulfilled and addressed the issues and has not taken any step to bring the SC community in the large framework of development,” he added.
