    Ahmedabad :  Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. on Tuesday announced the debut of Aloft Ahmedabad, SG Road, bringing its industry-changing brand, associated with ground-breaking initiatives in design, music and technology.

    The brand currently has a strong footprint in South India with well received hotels such as Aloft Chennai, OMR – IT Expressway, Aloft Bengaluru Whitefield, and Aloft Coimbatore Singanallur. Recently, Starwood entered North India with the Aloft Chandigarh Zirakpur. With the opening of Aloft Ahmedabad, SG Road, the brand is establishing a strong pan India presence. All Aloft hotels in India are developed with the Urbanedge Hotels, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of Auromatrix Holdings Private Limited.Indian state of Gujarat. The opening marks Starwood’s fifth Aloft hotel in India’s rapidly expanding hospitality market.Located on the main highway that connects Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat, the 176-room hotel is a landmark addition to one of India’s most industrialized states.
