Our correspondent reports that official sources told AIR that a fresh batch of over 2 thousand 6 hundred Yatris left from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu early morning, for base camps in Kashmir.

They said that Yatra from both Pahalgam and Baltal camps in Kashmir has not been allowed today morning due to bad weather and slippery condition on tracks. Yesterday also, the Yatra remained suspended from both the  routes due to incessant rain and bad weather. The 46 day Yatra will conclude on August 15 coinciding with Raksha Bandhan and Shravan Purnima.
