Mumbai: A mélange of fashion, heady cocktails and dense foliage greeted the swish set of Mumbai as they congregated far away from the bustling noisy streets to ‘Rainforest’, the newest rest-bar which launched today. Yash Jaiswal, the Initiator, personally extended a warm welcome to all the guests who seemed to be having a great time and soaking in the atmosphere. Ace designer Vikram Phadnis’ spectacular fashion show had everyone mesmerized with Candice Pinto, Pia Trivedi, Anchal Kumar, Megha Kawale, Sanea Shaikh and other top models sashaying down the beautifully lit forest themed restaurant on a leafy ramp. Karishma Tanna and Kartik Jobanputra of Apex Entertainment co-hosted the evening where attendees like Pule. I. Malefane-Consulate General of South Africa, Delnaaz, Siddharth Kannan, Rohit Roy, Chandrachur Singh, Chitrashi  Rawat, Hanif Hillal , Shama Sikandar, Shekhar Suman, Anup Jalota, Jagjit Singh, Salma Agha, Raghav Sachar, Shonal Rawat among others had a great time sampling the hors d’oeuvres and drinks!

Living the drab life in the concrete jungle is a plain monotony and the wild wilderness simulation created in Rainforest was a welcome relief for all the guests. Creepers, rocks, green foliage is all around the place creating a real-life experience for the senses. This multi-cuisine restaurant was the third of the outlets to be opened after Ghatkopar and CBD Belapur in Mumbai. It’s not just the regular winding-down destination for youngsters and corporates but a huge successful format for the kids as well!

The distinctive and beautiful designs have been inspired from the Amazon rain forests and give you the similar feel. The dimly lit place has low hanging lights over each table and comfortable seating. Jungle creepers hanging over faux-rock walls around a huge projector TV gives the restaurant a simulated rainforest look good enough for a wild experience. The food menu highlights Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisines. Seafood is highly recommended and speciality of the restaurant. Rainforest also offers impressive drinking menu offering interesting mock tails apart from usual fresh lime and ice tea options.

The Rain Forest Resto-Bar spread over 4500 sqft in prime Andheri is testimony to its successful run in Ghatkopar and Belapur. Spaciously divided into 2 private dining options and a mix of low seating and wood-cut tables, caters to tastes for people of all ages. The enterprising entrepreneur, Yash Jaiswal who has a well suited International F&B qualification and comes from a family owned successful liquor business, excitedly states, “The first two outlets have had a dream-run and we are only too happy to open an outlet in Andheri where we reach out to many people. Our sea-food and Indian have been very popular with the masses and we only hope to get better every time. The team has been terrific and we hope that we can attract a loyal base here too!”
