Anil Kumar Appointed Secretary Ayush

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Anil Kumar, IAS , presently Principal Adviser, Planning Commission as Secretary, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vice Smt. S.Jalaja, IAS, on her retirement on 31st October, 2010.
Some Homoeopathic doctors are deprived after 25 years of service in National Institute of Homeopathy, Kolkata. It is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Health and F.W, Dept. of AYUSH.They are working here as Medical officers and Asst. Research officers.there is no promotion or Dynamic ACP which is recommended by 5th and 6th Central pay Commission.
We are hopeful that one learned person as well as experienced kind hearted man(Shri Anil Kumar) has taken the charge of AYUSH as secretary.So he may consider this matter sympathetically.
