Mumbai : The felicitation of 250 teachers from different schools of Mumbai was the centre of attraction in the teachers day ceremony, organized by Anjali Foundation in the auditorium of N.L.High School at Malad. The event took place on 1st September, four days earlier than the declared teacher’s day.

The reason behind this early celebration, according to the chairman of Anjali Foundation Mr. Atmaram Patel is to fetch the attention and attraction of people from all walks of life towards importance, contribution and dignity of the teachers.

Having been inspired by the great success of the teachers day celebration, the chairman of the foundation proclaimed that the next teacher’s day of 2014 will be celebrated in the same pattern in the biggest auditorium of New Delhi and will honour 2500 teachers from 2500 schools.
