Ormamaathram is the latest Dileep starrer to hit the silver screens shortly. The story of the film hovers around the life and ambitions of Ajayan, the clerical assistant of a public prosecutor.  Ajayan who married a muslim girl, Safiya,  wants his son, Deepu, to be in the same legal profession, but as a judge of a senior court. But misfortune starts hunting the couple with their young lad goes missing while the father and the son went for an outing.

The film depicts the pathetic plight and ordeal of the couple on theirdesperate search for the missing son in whom they had all expectations of a bright future

Madhu Kaithapram has directed the film and and Dilip plays the lead role as Ajayan.   Priyanka Nair is casted as Safiya and Master Sidharth as Deepu.

Jagathi Sreekumar, Lalu Alex Nedumudi Veenu and Salim Kumar are the other notable casts.

Ormamaathram is produced under the banner of Horizon Entertainments by Rajan Taliparamba (Doha).

Cinimatograpy  is by M J Radhakrishnan. C V Balakrishnan has done the screen play and the story is by Dr. Rahim Kadavathu.  Kaithapram Vishwanathan has scored the music.
