Mumbai: In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 14, Arshi Khan was heard discussing about her physiotherapy background with Eijaz Khan, Ali Goni and others. 
While the latter did not believe her and tried to cross question her on her knowledge of physiotherapy, Arshi Khan blurted out some technical terms which left both Ali and Eijaz stunned. But they still did not believe her, thinking that she was bluffing.

After the episode was aired, some media outlets and websites in articles posted on their websites, claimed that Bigg Boss challenger Arshi Khan has been making up stories or faking about being a physiotherapist in the Bigg Boss house.

Arshi Khan’s publicist Flynn Remedios has clarified on this incident with the following press statement: This is to clarify that Arshi Khan has worked as a physiotherapist in a hospital in Bhopal and is a qualified physiotherapist. She has done a professional diploma course in physiotherapy and was a practicing assistant physiotherapist for several months (or about a year) at a hospital in Bhopal before she entered showbiz. Unfortunately, we cannot name the hospital for various reasons, he said in a written statement.

Media persons are kindly requested to verify facts, before alleging (incorrectly) that Arshi Khan is/was faking her physiotherapist background, Remedios said adding that its true that Arshi was a practicing physiotherapist.

In fact on one occasion it was very hot inside the physiotherapy room one evening as the power had gone out and the AC was not functioning. After a strenuous physiotherapy session with an elderly patient Arshi Khan came out of the physiotherapy room sweating and her boyfriend who was waiting outside to take her home, thought Arshi was having ‘sex’ with the client and the duo had a big fight about it. This incident was narrated by Arshi Khan herself in the previous season of Bigg Boss – Season 11 when she was a participant.

“Arshi Khan and I have been working together since 2013 and she has even shown me her physiotherapy diploma certificate on one occasion. So I can say with certainty that Arshi Khan is a qualified physiotherapist. Request media not to publish incorrect or fake news,” Remedios said.
