    New Delhi: With the objective of captivating today’s progressive lifestyle conscious consumer, who demands greater variety, taste and freshness in on-the-go foods, FMCG major Bonn Group of Industries has expanded the availability of its premium whole grain gourmet bread range which promises to present kitchen tables with a tastier, artisan-baked, fulfilling breakfast option. The premium product line launched earlier this year, aptly named ‘La Americana Gourmet’, includes a richly worked deck of products ranging from whole wheat bran burger bread and whole wheat bran pav, Garlic & multigrain Footlongs, Bran Bread, Honey Oat Bread, Garlic Oregano Breads and eggless lemon, Butter Scotch & Choco Vanilla Cakes among others.

    La Americana Gourmet breads feature ‘No added preservatives’ intended to preserve the aroma and texture of bread as if it were baked at home. Wholegrain carbohydrates are the best in terms of combining healthy carbs with fiber, antioxidants, essential vitamins and minerals. They also prevent you from feeling bloated after a meal. These products will be now being available in retail stores across Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh tricity and Delhi & NCR.

There has been an accelerating increase in its demand, due in part to rising income, globalization of tastes, health and nutrition concerns

    The bread market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 10.4% every year between 2018 and 2021 globally. This rise is being attributed to developing markets such as India. With about 67% of its population below the age of 35, a clear trend toward wholesome and lifestyle eating habits is perceptible. We aim to close the gap that exists in this market segment with our meticulous push on quality and experience”, added Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal, COO of Bonn Group of Industries.

    Bonn is hoping to reach an annual turnover target of Rs. 1000 crore in the next 2-3 years and to this end it has expanded its market access to South India as well as new cities in the North, where it is already a market leader, in a bid to further concentrate its penetration density.
