    Guwahati : Nearly 20% city based journalists are vulnerable for liver related ailments and three percent needs immediate medical attention. It was revealed in a screening camp, organized by GATE Hospital at Guwahati Press Club last week. Altogether 140 journalists participated in the liver function testing camp, among them 80% however showed satisfactory outcome, as they need only slight change of food habit & life style. Meanwhile, attending the weekly media OPD clinic today at the press club premises, Dr Muhibul Islam and Dr Nabin Kr Banchal offered free consultations to over 60 participants. Most of them consulted their bold reports with the physicians. The participants also got their weight, blood pressure & sugar checked in the camp. Nurses Madhusmita Rajbongshi, Chumi Rajbongshi and Kakuma Das assisted the camp, where the hospital’s marketing manager Mayuri Ghosh and chief operating officer Mintu Ranjan Dutta were also present.
