Assam bans gutka, pan masala containing tobacco-nicotine for 1 year

The Assam government has prohibited the manufacture and sale of gutkha, pan masala or any chewing material in the state.
In a recent order issued by the Food Safety Commissioner said that manufacture, storage, sale, display and transportation of any products containing tobacco or nicotine are prohibited in the state for 1 year.
