Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today said in Silchar that Hindutva is a way of life. He claimed that followers of most religions are descendants of Hindus. But now Assam is on its way to becoming the next Kashmir. The chief minister said Hindus are now on the verge of extinction in the North East.
He said hindus living in t-belts and border areas are on the verge of extinction due to aggression of a section. Sarma has sought help from the RSS to protect Hindus from the “aggression” of a particular community living in remote areas of the state. In a recent meeting in barak valley, he said that the situation in Assam is becoming like Kashmir. He also requested the RSS to save Hindus in Assam. The Chief Minister hit out at the special community saying that the people of that community living in remote areas of Assam are endangering the lives of Hindus with their “aggression”. In a meeting with RSS Cachar leaders, the chief minister said, “Assam is going to be another Kashmir. Sessions is in great danger due to aggression by a section of people.
