Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today said in Silchar that Hindutva is a way of life. He claimed that followers of most religions are descendants of Hindus. But now Assam is on its way to becoming the next Kashmir. The chief minister said Hindus are now on the verge of extinction in the North East.

He said hindus living in t-belts and border areas are on the verge of extinction due to aggression of a section. Sarma has sought help from the RSS to protect Hindus from the “aggression” of a particular community living in remote areas of the state. In a recent meeting in barak valley, he said that the situation in Assam is becoming like Kashmir. He also requested the RSS to save Hindus in Assam. The Chief Minister hit out at the special community saying that the people of that community living in remote areas of Assam are endangering the lives of Hindus with their “aggression”. In a meeting with RSS Cachar leaders, the chief minister said, “Assam is going to be another Kashmir. Sessions is in great danger due to aggression by a section of people. At the same time, the belt and far-flung border areas of the Tea-dwelling Hindu state are also on the verge of extinction due to large-scale invasion. “Hindus must be saved He requested the RSS to help them save the Hindus of the state and said, “I urge rss workers to go to the areas and unite Hindus to protect institutions from danger.

You can do that because you have the ground level. Strong relations with the organization and the common people in remote areas. I request the Union to help the Government in this direction.”It is true that there are some people in the state who are staunch opponents of CAA and NRC,” he said. However, things are beginning to change. We are trying to convince them that caa and nrc are not against the interests of Assam and assamese people. Members of the intellectuals who met me recently conveyed to me that Bengali Hindus are never a threat to the Assamese community. The people of Assam now understand the reality. “I urge RSS workers to go to areas and unite Hindus to protect institutions from danger,” the chief minister told RSS functionaries. You can do this because you have a grassroots organization and have a strong relationship with the common people living in remote areas. Chief Minister Sarma said, “It is true that there are some people in the state who are staunchopponents of CAA and NRC. However, things are beginning to change. We are trying to convince them that CAA and NRC are not against the interests of Assam and Assamese people.
