Guwahati : Assam Chief Minister Sonowal wishes success to Assam’s sprint queen Hima Das for Asian Games.Assam’s sprint queen Hima Das who won her second gold called on Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at his official residence on Saturday. She won the second gold in 400 meter sprint in 58th National Inter State Senior Athletics Championships held in the city. She won her first in woman’s 200 metre race. The Chief Minister wished her success in upcoming Asian Games to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Das was accompanied by Dutee Chand who won a gold in 100 meter sprint in 58th National Inter State Senior Athletics Championships. Sonowal wished both the athletes success in Asian Games. Hima Das is also the brand ambassador of the 58th National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship. She hails from Dhing of Assam’s Nagaon district.
