Haflong  :Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited Khepre and Umrangso to campaign in favour BJP candidates like Ranu Langthasa, Samuel Changsan, Biswasjit Daulagupu,  Projit Hojai and also Denish Teron on Thursday.

Sonowal’s today’s visit to Khepre has become a red letter for the people of entire Khepre, bordering area since for the first time in the history of Dima Hasao, Assam Chief Minister has visited since independence.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonawal attended in Kephere and Umrongso on the last day of the election campaign of the 12th NCHAC. CM Sonawal highlighting the developmental activities of the central, state and also the council has appealed to vote in favour of Biswajeet Daulagaphu, Samuel Changsang, Ranu Langthsa and Pradip Hojai as BJP candidate.

Addressing the election rally at Kephre, CM Sarbananda Sonowal assured that Kephere outpost would be upragded to Police station, 2 police outposts would be set up in Kephere. For construction of road from Maibang to Kephere a distance of 50 KM have been sanctioned so far 50 percent work have been completed. He also affirmed that the Dima Hasao would be made most beautiful, attractive and strong in the field of Tourism, Medical, infrastructure, education, women empowerment, agriculture etc. and the Assam Government would provide all possible for development of all.
