Haflong  : Assam Chief Minister Sri Sarbananda Sonowal arrived at Haflong by helicopter to campaign in favour of BJP candidate Smt Nandita Gorlosa on Sunday.

During his brief stopover at Haflong  CM Sonowal addressed a huge gathering in connection with Vijay Sankalp Rally at N L Daulagupu sports complex in presence of Minister from Uttarakhand Sri Kedar Joshi, NCHAC CEM Debolal Gorlosa, EMs Nipolal Hojai, Biswajit Daulagupu,Debojit Bathari, Samuel Changsan, MACs Bijit Langthasa, Ratan Jarambusa etc.

In his speech CM sought the blessings of all the people of Dima Hasao in Winning the BJP candidate so that the pace of development continues during the BJP led government in Assam a peaceful atmosphere has been prevailing throughout state and peace is always prerequisite for development. He took the name of Prime Minister Modi who has always been for the development of North East India while saying ‘sab ka sath sab ka vikas’. He assured that if the people of Dima Hasao voted the BJP candidate to power there will be many fold of development in the district. He assured that the council under sixth schedule would be strengthened and no panchayat Raj would be there in Dima Hasao.

Among others EM, Changsan, Daulagupu, Hojai MACs Jarambusa, Langthasa criticized the election promises employment, etc. terming as farcical appealed the people to cast vote judiciously and not get confused by impractical election promises of congress.

BJP candidates in both hills winning claims star campaigner Kedar Joshi

Star campaigner of 16 (ST) Haflong La constituencies Smt Nandita Gorlosa Sri Kedar Joshi, Minister Uttarakahnd claimed that all the BJP candidates of Hills district of Assam are winning with good margins.

Uttarkhand Minister Joshi who has been campaigning here in Dima Hasao for last few days was present at Umrangso on Saturday with BJP Candidate Nandita Gorlosa, CEM, NCHAC Debolal Gorlosa, Chairperson Ranu Langthasa, EM Debojit Bathari and others

.Addressing the gatherings at Umrangso play ground CEM  Gorlosa, Chairperson Langthasa, EM Bathari assured that the present BJP led NCHAC has been committed for the betterment of the place and its people. They appealed to the people Umrangso not to believe opposition’s mis-propaganda in the name panchati raj or dilution of six schedules etc. rather to repose trust on BJP and cast the vote in favour of Nandita Gorlosa.
