The Assam police have detained 3 persons at Barpeta district for their alleged connection with  Hijbul Muzahidin. Official sources said that acting on a tip-off, police detained them last night from different places at Barpeta district. Our Correspondent reports that police have already arrested 7 people in Assam following the arrest of Hijbul operative Qamar Uz Zama in Kanpur. A team of NIA also questioned the arrested 7 linkmen at Hojai district.

Meanwhile, police is also working on a social media support system to deal with fundamentalist and terrorist activities.
