Awareness on COVID19 among villagers

Kokrajhar: To create awareness among the local common masses regarding COVID-19 a public announcement drive was carried out today by NTPC Bongaigaon situated at Salakati in Kokrajhar district. The announcement was carried out in both local language of Assamese and Bodo and the sensitization drive was carried out in the nearby villages in and around the plant. Announcement was made to take necessary precautions in view of the cyclone Aamphan.

Total 1500 double layered masks were also distributed each among the VCDC of Aie-Bhandari and Nadanguri. Previously 1000 masks were distributed among the villages.
