Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan today said it is a matter of pride that almost 5 million people have received treatment after availing the benefit of Ayushman Bharat scheme in the past one year. Addressing the gathering at the inaugural session of Ayushman Bharat-Arogya Manthan in New Delhi, Dr Harsh Vardhan said the scheme has received attention not only within the country, but from across the world.

He said there cannot be a better example of cooperative federalism than Ayushman Bharat. The Minister said that in 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the symbol of aspirations of youth of India. He said people from world over now want to know about Ayushman Bharat scheme and incorporate similar schemes in their country.
