Kolkata: Baid Group, the Kolkata based diversified business conglomerate, today won the award for “Innovative Retailer of the Year'” at The 7th Asia Retail Congress Awards 2011. The award was given away at a glittering function held at the Taj Lands End, in Mumbai on February 9 and 10, 2011. Baid Group emerged the winner amidst competition from several retail companies. Mr Irendra Chhabra, CEO, Retail Division – Baid Group and Mr Sumeet Ambegaokar, National Head – Marketing, Retail Division, Baid Group, accepted this award.
