Haflong : Following a 24 hours Dima Hasao & Karbi Anglong Bandh called by a lesser known armed organisation Dimasa National Liberation Army, the normal life affected in Dima Hasao causing immense inconvenience to the public.

Today being weekly market day at Haflong traders as well as the public faced untold difficulties due to the sudden Bandh that too on the eve of Busu, the prime festival of the Dimasas.

All the business institutions market, Banks Government and semi government offices remain closed and the public transports were also off the road.

The bandh was called by Dimasa National Liberation Army opposing the Setting up of Detention Camp in Dima Hasao,Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 and Implementation of Panchayati Raj at sixth schedule area of Assam.
