  • Betterhalf.ai records $2M annualized revenue in FY22 with 50% quarterly growth

    Being India’s first AI-driven app, Betterhalf.ai records 75000 new users every month and plans to capture a huge market share with projected $3M revenue growth by the end of FY23.

    Bangalore : Betterhalf.ai – AI-driven India’s first and only “true-compatibility” partner search app has recorded a dramatic growth of $2M annualized revenue in FY22 with 50% quarterly growth.

    Incepted in 2016 by Rahul Namdev – an MIT-educated AI expert and Pawan Gupta – a serial entrepreneur, Betterhalf.ai is India’s first AI-driven matchmaking app without the direct involvement of parents. It transitions the traditional matchmaking process and reinvents the matrimony experience for young Indian singles.

    Betterhalf.ai’s recorded growth is fueled by its key matchmaking service which drives 70% of the company’s revenue while non-matchmaking services like wedding decorations, photography, loans, verification and astrology drive 30% of the company’s revenue.

    Betterhalf.ai is uniquely positioned as India’s first AI-driven matchmaking app and plans to be a full-stack solution from matrimonial matchmaking to a complete end-to-end wedding service app. It is focusing on strengthening its concierge products like human matchmaking, talk to astrology products.

    Apart from the record high revenue growth, the app has also recorded a 250% growth in its team size by adding 75 full-time employees in 06 months. With 75,000 users added every month to the app, it is working aggressively to touch $3M annualized revenue by the end of FY23.

    Unlike the conventional matrimony apps, the app focuses on behavioural matching criteria – compatibility matching with likes, dislikes and interests and facilitates over a million matches and a thousand marriages across a user base of 700K urban millennials.
