Patna: In Bihar, 24 Maoists today surrendered before police in Sheohar district of the state. Maoists said they have now decided to join mainstream of development. They were administered oath to join mainstream of the society in front of the district administration.
District Magistrate Raj Kumar said Maoists will be rehabilitated as per governor norms. He said 17 Maoists had surrendered earlier in Belwa area of the district.
