  • Bihar: 8 killed in landmine blast by Maoists

    In Bihar, eight persons, including six policemen were killed in a landmine blast triggered by Maoists near Majhaulia village in Bihar Gaya district today. State DGP Abhyanand told our Patna correspondent that one Assistant SI, five constables, one special police officer and a local people were killed in the blast.

    DGP also said that the intensity of the blast was so high that most of the bodies of the deceased person could not be identified. The incident took place at Roshanganj in Sherghati sub-division on the boarder of Bihar and Jharkhand at around 12:40 noon. Police team has reached on the spot and a massive search operation is on.
