  • Bihar: IAS officers protest against arrest of SSC chairman Sudhir Kumar

    The IAS officers in Bihar has protested against the arrest of Senior IAS officer and Chairman of Bihar Staff Selection Commission IAS officersSudhir Kumar in connection with question paper leak of clerical examination in the state. Bihar IAS Association has also decided not to take verbal orders from anyone including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar unless given in writing.

    A resolution was passed in this regard at an Extra Ordinary General meeting of the association in Patna. The association also decided that its members should wear black arm bands to work till arrested IAS Sudhir Kumar is released from jail and the case is transferred to CBI for free and fair probe.

    Bihar IAS association has also announced that none of the IAS offiicers would accept the posts of chairman and controller of Bihar Staff Selection Commission as well as technical services recruitment board till justice is done.

    IAS association yesterday met Governor Ram Nath Kovind and submitted a memorandum listing out their demands. The members of the association also formed a human chain as mark of solidarity with Sudhir Kumar. The Secretay of association Vivek Kumar Singh said Sudhir Kumar and his family members have been falsely implicated.

    It may be noted Sudhir Kumar and his four family members have been arrested in connection with question paper leak case. The Secretary of the Commissin Parmeshwar Ram and over three dozen persons have arrested so far in this regard.
