BJP leader Dayashankar’s family lodges case against BSP leaders

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the family of expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh has lodged a case against BSP leaders for abusing and publicly tarnishing the dignity of female family members of Dayashankar Singh while protesting against him. Mrs Tetra Devi, mother of Dayashankar Singh today reached Hazratganj police station of Lucknow and lodged the case against BSP leaders.

Devi said that the family had nothing to do with politics and the statement of Dayashankar Singh. She alleged that her 12 year old granddaughter is in trauma and we all fear life threat from BSP workers and its leaders. She said that raising the highly inappropriate slogans in the protest rally were not possible without permission of Mayawati. Tetra Devi also alleged that Mayawati made derogatory remarks in Parliament against the women of her family.

Inspector Hazratganj Kotwali confirmed that an FIR has been registered in this regard on behalf of Tetra Devi, the mother of Dayashankar Singh.

Meanwhile Swati Singh, wife of Dayashankar Singh​ has accused BSP members of ‘traumatising’ her minor daughter and has demanded security as she felt her life was under threat.​ ​
