BJP MP and former Cricketer Gautam Gambhir to flag off rally aga0inst use of plastic on September 26 in East Delhi

East Delhi  : About 2,500 , members of Resident Welfare Associations , eminent citizens and school students will take part  in the mega awareness rally organised being orgnaised by Men’s Health Society, an NGO working for health awarness and Goyal Hospital and Urology Centre on September 26 in Krishna Nagar, East Delhi.

“The main aim of the rally to be flagged off by eminent former cricketer and Member of Parliament from  East Delhi, Gautam Gambhir  is to sensitise people against the use of one-time-use plastic items.” said Dr Anil Goyal, head of Goyal Hospital and incharge of BJP’s Delhi health brnach, He  is the  main organiser of the rally .

” During the rally participants will raise slogans and carry plackards against the usage of one-time-use plastic items. The students will also enact a street play  with innovative slogans discouraging the use of plastic bags.” said Dr Anil Goyal.

 “The cloth bags and T shirts with message agaunst use of plastic will be distributed to public enroute the rally who are caarying plastic bags . The partcipants will also take an oath against use pf plastic ” said Dr Goyal

“The rally will also help in  spreading the prime minister’s social messages related to Swachh Bharat and shunning single-use plastic” he added
