  • Blue Hill Group Launches “OLIVEA” In North India

    New Delhi: The Blue Hill Group, promoted by the Directors of the Nilgiris, a renowned supermarket chain since 1905, today, announced the launch of The North India operations of Asia’s most Premium and only Uber Luxury Coach services called “OLIVEA”.

    The luxury coaches , in multi axle chassis of Volvo and Mercedes Benz has been converted and made into dream coaches  by DC Designs ( owned by Mr.Dilip Chhabria ). These coaches are never been produced or brought on road ever in Asia.

    The OLIVEA’s are designed to give first class luxury & comforts at far lower prices than any Airlines, providing high-grade near flat 165 degrees leather reclining ergonomic seats from best of Aircraft seat manufacturers with electronically operated calf support, lumbar support, multi level head rests, and Finest on-board Entertainment because of the individual High definition DTH for each seat screening movies and music on demand plus live satellite television.

    Mr Prabhu Ramachandran, Managing Director, Blue Hill Group while making the announcement said “With the launch of this novel travel concept we with a first mover advantage believe that we have already revolutionized the Indian Ground transportation sector”.

    OLIVEA ( formerly known as –Luxuria- ), was conceptualized and started in early 2011 ex-Bangalore ( Southern Hub ) has already been rated as the most Innovative start up by PATA, IATO and BusWorld

    Initially the “OLIVEA” will be flagged-off on November 1 with multiple daily departures to Agra & Chandigarh. The operations will then be expanded to  Dehradun, Jaipur, Shimla & Vrindavan by 1st week of December. All these routes will also see the “Olivea” luxury lounges in each cities from where these coaches operate.

    “OLIVEA today provides experience in the lines of a Premium Legacy air carrier. Its already boasts of a 70% Load factor in most of sectors since inception and with expansion of One route per forthnight we would be one of Asia’s Largest Road Travel Premium network system by March 2012 with a inventory of more than 120 Coaches”  said Mr .Koustav M Dhar CEO& Executive Director  Blue Hill Group.

    The operation format are of Non-stop operations, with high on safety,due to continous GPS tracking and ip TV cameras which Track 24/7 the Coach operations The super luxury Coaches have in built washrooms & Toilets for added safety and comfort.  They also have Refrigerators and Microwaves, with trained Pursers SERVING delectable’s on board. Wi-Fi internet services blankets & pillows all that take care of the convenience & comfort of the Traveler.

    How to make bookings ……. The entire booking process is Online and can be booked through www.olivea.in and OLIVEA is distributed through most of Online Travel agents in India. OLIVEA operations is completely supported by BIRD Information system through their globally acclaimed AIRS software for Reservation, DCS and Yield Management. OLIVEA International standard catering is supported by Indotel Hospitality in South and AVA in North .

    OLIVEA today is represented in Thailand by Benetone Travel services , GSA in Bangkok, Paras Travels in Kolkata and about 12 International GSA’s worldwide who distribute to International patrons.

    OLIVEA in South of India operates about 8 Vehicles in Bangalore-Chennai-Mysore-Tirupati sector and would be adding 8 Buses every month for next 24 Months for 4 Hub Operations in South, North, West and East India.

    With an acquisition plan to acquire about 100 of these coaches in next 24 months the company has already invested an initial Rs 50 Crore for 25 coachess.  “We plan to invest Rs 250 crore in the next three to four years for acquiring more such busses” further added Mr Ramachandran.
