Bluehost, a trusted web hosting provider specializing in WordPress, has announced “Bluehost WordPress Creators Awards” open to all who build websites and online presence on WordPress in India.
To be held virtually, the competition revolves around the theme of ‘Innovation and Creativity’ in the digital age. The nominations are open to submissions of websites, online applications, themes, plugins and blogs created in the past twelve months with WordPress based in India. The entries will be judged by a panel of Industry leading design and development experts such as Director of Design at Pensaar, Founder and President of UMO Design foundation, Global Executive Director of Designit, Founders of ShoutmeLoud and AffiliateBooster.com, Managing Director of DMatic Digital and Developers & Design Leads from Peenak Solutions, Awesome Motive Inc, Zipgrid, etc. All entries will be reviewed and awarded on innovation, creativity, futuristic vision and the use of WordPress themes, plugins and technology.
The nominations will close on 24 September 2021 and the finalists will be announced in October 2021. Out of all the entries, 20 candidates will make the defining list of India’s best WordPress creators, broken down into two categories – web designers/developers and bloggers/other creators.
The top 3 winners in each category will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 100,000, Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 respectively, while the rest of the winners will receive a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each.
